Get answers to common questions about Fill.
Typically every 2–3 weeks depending on growth rate, enhancement type, and wear. Acrylics often need more frequent fills, while gels may last slightly longer. Your technician will recommend timing based on nail health, visible gaps, and overall condition to keep enhancements safe and neat.
Small shape adjustments are usually possible during a Fill, but major shape changes or complete color redesign may require a full re-set and extra time. Ask your technician beforehand so we can accommodate changes or book a longer appointment if needed.
When fills are performed by a trained technician at proper intervals, they do not harm natural nails. We use gentle filing and adhesive techniques, monitor nail integrity, and advise removal or repairs to prevent over-thinning or damage from improper at-home removal.
A standard Fill appointment usually takes 30–60 minutes depending on growth, enhancement type, and any repairs or nail art requested. Busy schedules or extensive corrections may extend the time, so allow for flexibility if you need additional services.
Arrive with clean, product-free hands and remove heavy lotions so nail products adhere properly. Bring reference photos if you want adjustments and let us know about recent lifts, allergies, or prior enhancements for the best, safest fill.
Minor lifts and chips are often repaired during a Fill with targeted adhesive, patching, and rebalance. Extensive lifting, infection, or severe damage may require removal and a full reapplication or medical attention before we proceed.
